Prepare for a Visit

As in any medical visit, first we gather information with a history. We discuss your child's development, and discuss how each and every problem unfolded through the years. We want to know how the child and his/her family got to their current states. We inquire into the whole range of frequently co-occurring conditions, such as ADHD, organization, autistic spectrum disorders, tics, anxiety, learning disabilities and more.

Martin L. Kutscher, M.D. is board certified in Pediatrics and in Neurology, with Special Competency in Child Neurology. He lectures internationally, and is the author of five recent books, including Kids in the Syndrome Mix of ADHD, LD, Autism Spectrum, Anxiety, Tourette's, and More: The one stop guide for parents, teachers, and other professionals (second edition); Organizing the Disorganized Child (with Marcella Moran); ADHD: Living without Brakes, and The ADHD BOOK: Living Right Now. A graduate of Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons, he completed his pediatrics at Temple University's St. Christopher's Hospital for Children and a pediatric neurology fellowship at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Kutscher was an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics and of Neurology at the New York Medical College for more than two decades. Dr. Kutscher's medical practice is limited to pediatric behavioral neurology.
